g15mpd software package provides A simple frontend for the MPD Media Player Daemon, for use with g15daemon, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install g15mpd
g15mpd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the g15mpd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep g15mpd *
You will get with g15mpd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
